Description

P1S led glass air vent riser, sick of having to remove the top glass to print certain materials like PLA? well with this riser you can keep it on and also have the door closed and have 0 issues printing due to the vents releasing the heat, has a perfectly angled channel to run LED lights on to brighten the inside, also helps minimize the amount of dust getting inside the printer due to have the top glass off.

would love some feedback on this model as this is my first ever design and would like to know if I need to improve on anything, thank you!

Hey! Can you send that link to the lights that plug into the printer? I really want to print this and buy those lights. Thank you!

I had the same issue :( I'm still going to print the left side to finish it off. I used plyers to clean up the loose filament.

testing with tree supports to see if that helps.

This happened when I printed this file again recently for me as well. The first time I printed it, it was flawless (back in Jan). It appears that the print is trying to bridge in the wrong direction on that front cover side. The other side of mine was flawless

these are the ones I used, they run around the angled edge inside and also plug into were the led light bar currently is plugged into https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805766235306.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.38bf1802JLaFWR&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt

Do they interfere with the lidar since they replace the current light bar?

to be honest, I have no idea as I don’t have a x1c, I don’t see why it would but then again, I don’t know anything about how the lidar works, maybe ask in the Facebook groups?

I've tried printing this twice with PLA+ on my P1S (.4mm nozzle) and the parts just dont fit. Normally I'd add a bit of hole compensation but I'm not sure what would work here, given the intricacies of the model.

they are tight to get together for a good snug fit and no rattling, spray some wd40 or something a like and tap the top and should slot together

I’m pretty sure it’s not that. I hammered them in after some sanding but the parts fractured from the impact. That’s half a spool down the drain 😭

yeah that’s really odd, what type of filament did you use? I haven’t had that issue with any of the ones I have printed nor that I have seen from anyone else besides it just being a bit tight, sorry that you have wasted half a roll

Could you create a tool holder to somehow fit into the honeycomb holes along one side? Cheers!

@ENVY3D Ive printed this twice, once in Jan (Flawless) once a couple weeks ago, and had the same issue. It was right after Bambu did the last update in studio.... I suspect they changed something in studio and its affecting the upload

Very nice. It took a little bit of patience to get the pieces put together, but they definitely fit. Looks good in place, I’ll see how it works to provide ventilation going forward.

Exactly what I was looking for, great aesthetic design and keeps the P1S mostly enclosed but allows for fantastic PLA/PLA+/PETG prints. LEDs also have a perfect surface for mounting with a great angle for lighting.

Ziet er mooi uit. waar heb je de led op aangesloten, waar zit de aansluiting?

Thank you! I used the USB port behind the P1 screen inside of the printer. Otherwise, a cable could be ran out of the rear and still look good.
