Description

Maybe you just need to give the tall glass a quick rinse before using it for a different drink, or maybe you are like me who hand wash tall glasses, bottles, flasks and thermos because of the concern that the dishwashing machine will not do a good job of rinsing and simply replace drink residues with chemicals (dishwasher detergents). Before I had a printer and designed this, it took me quite some time to rinse thoroughly and it’s boring.

This simple print will enable your kitchen sink side sprayer to perform double duty as a rinser for these tall drinkware. Easily flush away residues that are hard to get to. It also makes the boring task of cleaning/rinsing cool and fun. It can stay on and will not interfere with the side sprayer’s normal use.

Two ways to use it: 1) as shown in GIF 1 and 2, hold and turn the side sprayer (which now becomes the rinser) up, place the glass on it, turn on the side sprayer, then turn the glass a few rounds to get a thorough rinse. There are grooves on it to make it easier and more secure to turn the glass; 2) as shown in GIF 3, hold and place the glass rinser onto the bottom of the sink, then press the glass on it and downwards to turn on the side sprayer (or turn it on by hand), turn the glass a few rounds to get a thorough rinse.

Easily print with PETG. PLA may also work if not using hot water for extended period of time. No support is needed. Print profile is provided.

Assembly is simple. See the two photos, which show different angles, for how it should be fit onto the head of the kitchen side sprayer.

The hole of the model is 1.21 inch in diameter which fits into the head of the side sprayer in my kitchen sink. Scale up or down in the X- and Y- axis to fit yours if needed.

Caution: The drinkware can be slippery so pay attention and keep hands steady when using the rinser so they won’t fall down. If the sprayer is turned on and the drinkware slips, the sprayer can also spray water onto the ceiling (it happened to me one time when I was distracted :)
