This is a simple spindown d20 model so that people can print and use their own dice. I got sick of paying $2 for a spin down dice from my local game store, so i created this version of a spin down dice. What's unique about this spin down dice is how the numbers work around from 20 to 1. I custom placed the numbers, so that to the user, it is intuitive as how to rotate the dice all the way from 20 to 1.
The d20 included has two models for user to alter to their own sizes/fonts/graphics if they so choose. To do so, download the f3d file and open it in fusion 360.
To change the dice size simply go to solid → modify dropdown → change parameters. From there you can adjust the dice size by modifying the expression value of ‘Triangle_size’, modifing this value will change the dice overall size.
To change the front size go to solid → modify dropdown → change parameters.. From here change the expression value for ‘Character_size’ for the font and change ‘Number_septh’ for the embossed numbers. Note: Keep this value negative or you will have a bad time printing.
If you feel like changing your font, rotation or using a custom SVG on a dice face, the sketches are all easily and clearly labelled under the browser section of fusion 360.
Enjoy!
