Description

Introducing the New Year's Ball Centerpiece – a captivating fusion of art and celebration! This meticulously crafted 3D design, inspired by the iconic New Year's Ball, is sure to be a head turner at your New Years Party!

Key Features:

Geometric Elegance: The design embraces the beauty of a geodesic sphere, creating a stunning visual appeal that captures the essence of celebration.

Perfectly Proportioned: With the geodesic sphere scaled to 200mm, this centerpiece is designed to command attention without overwhelming your space. Its size ensures it serves as an eye-catching focal point for your table or party setting.

User-Friendly Assembly: Delivered in easy-to-print pieces, the New Year's Geodesic Sphere allows for effortless installation of an LED strip, infusing vibrant and dynamic lighting into your celebration. This masterpiece ensures durability and a flawless finish. The included picture guide ensures alignment of the pentagons. The pole in the center has been notched out for a cable to be routed through and wrapped around the pole.

*I recommend gluing the bottom half of the dome to the base with the peg in for best alignment. Once everything is in place, I glued just a few points of the top half of the dome to the bottom half so it holds shape while moving around. I only did a few spots in case the LED strip wears out and needs replaced down the line. If you have any issues, feel free to comment and I'll help out where I can!*

Versatile Decor: Whether adorning your table as a centerpiece or illuminating your space as a party lamp, this versatile creation adds a touch of modern sophistication to any New Year's event.

Specifications:

  • Dimensions: Scaled for the Geodesic Sphere to be about 200mm, it stands at about 450mm tall!
  • Material: Combination of PLA and PETG from Duramic Filament
  • Assembly: Straightforward assembly process, guided by an included picture for pentagon alignment

Celebrate in style and make a statement with the New Year's Ball Centerpiece. Immerse yourself in the enchanting glow of festivities as this unique design, crafted with precision and quality materials, takes center stage at your next gathering.

EDIT: Went ahead and added the next few years for you guys! If anyone needs some help, don't hesitate to reach out!

Sure to be the center of attention tonight. Only had to cut a slight notch for the LED strip to pass thru and it was good to go. Still photos don’t do it justice, wish I could have posted the short video instead…

Hey thanks a ton! I uploaded this model with a notch to fit most light strips. did that not work for you?

My LED strip did not fit into the notch so I cut a small flat one in the opening of 5he ball’s base unit to slid over it. It can’t be seen so no one notices…

Just had another idea come to mind. This is too nice of a centerpiece to use only once a year. Could you make additional toppers to swap out for the “Happy New Year” like “Happy Birthday”, “Happy Anniversary” and even “Merry Christmas”?
