This is the printable iPad kiosk/photobooth

It's a pretty simple, but efficient design. In this project you will need the following-

• M3x4mmx5mm Threaded Heat Inserts→ Like THESE
• M3x12mm Bolts- Like THESE
• For the optional, but highly recommended, base adapter
  • M8 Threaded Heat Inserts- Like THESE
  • M8 Furniture Leveling Feet- Like THESE
• Other Tools I used for this project
  • Dremel Press for level inserting of the threaded inserts.
  • Soldering Iron for threaded inserts
  • Threaded insert tips
  • iPad Pro 11 case

This model fits the iPad Pro 11 with the case mentioned above. I have provided the STEP files for the iPad holder so you can make it fit yours. I may add extra models to this in the future.

If you just want to have a great time at your next family event, have a sign in kiosk, a display, or start your own photobooth rental business, this is the one for you. This project is simple, but has a great end result. I looked to buy one for a corporate event this holiday season and found them to be $700+ and you still had to provide your own iPad. Naturally with the 3D Print master race mind set, I turned to shapr3d and came out with this-

With this stand you can print as many mid sections as you need. I wouldn't push it more than about 4 though. When I used 4 I put weighted rods in it I had laying around. I think it would have been fine if I only did 3, so since then I have made the base have a large wedge in it. I would print the base of the model in full to near-full infill for added weight. As you can see in the photos each part connects to the next with threaded heat inserts and M3 bolts. The base adapter has M8 threaded inserts and M8 furniture leveling feet.

I added an LED strip inside to match the theme of the party. Minus the cost of the iPad I have around $70 in this project. I bought 3 super cheap white PLA+ rolls, in case I messed up on a part or two, and all of the hardware mentioned above.
