I really like the box, it is nice. But only 4 stars for one part I believe need a redesign! The lock is way to fragile. With me it broke of immediately. But I still use the box, because te rest is very good.

Thanks for the feedback. This is honestly the first time I have heard of anyone breaking off the lock/latch. I test printed this latch I don’t know how many times and none were fragile. If you like, I could make it thicker for you and send you a link? I just want you to be really happy with it!

I have the same problem, the lock/latch broke on every attempt (PLA/PETG/ABS). Hinge broke on PETG.

This happened to me too! I used PLA from inland

using the default settings for this printer, the container's corners lifted at the bed. there is also a strange indent running the entire circumference of pretty wall where the bottom layers were, and that indent stops exactly where the infill stopped for those bottom layers. i increased the bed temps to 70c while printing the trap door and the dividers. those didn't lift at all. other than my poor choice in color (BL PLA MATTE RED) and a few of those mentioned defects, it is a really cool print. i think I'll try it again, but using regular PLA BASIC instead of Matte. and I'll also increase bed temps to 70c. I'll try this tonight and report back with updated photos. thank you. great print designing by the way 👍🤗

I’d recommend the profile with the brim, it looks like you’re not using that one, unless you removed the brim already before the photo. For a print this wide the corners are susceptible to warping, so try and minimize drafts as much as you can. Maybe even set up some cardboard walls, just don’t cover it on the top, you don’t want to get it that hot. And I don’t think the color is that bad! Good luck!

hello, i used this one shown in my screenshot below. the selection says "logo/brim" but when we look at the details of that plate it doesn't show a brim and it didn't print a brim. i think you're right, a brim would've helped but i didn't know how to add it. Please check that there really is a brim on that selected plate. or maybe I'm doing something wrong to not get a brim. I'm new to Maker's and Bambu, so this is very possible it's still me doing something wrong

Nice and easy to print. I modified one of the spacers, so it fits bit better the top compartment. With a bit finetuning it can be used for Collectable LEGO Minifigures, I used white PLA+ from eSun and black PLA+ from Sunlu. The PEO build plate gives it a nice touch.

Smart and nice work! Yes I didn’t add slots on that end of the box since they would interfere with the lid but glad you made a nice simple mod so you could use it like that. That looks great! I love when people use the box for things I would have never thought of!

Hi Abdelad. Can you share me your setting. I used Sunlu PLA+ too but my hinches sticked so hard together. I can´t close the box. The rest of the box was fine and smooth.

Hey, for PLA+ I use the default Generic PLA profile from Bambu Studio as a Base. I run for every Filament Brand and Color a manual Flow Rate Calibration and save this as a new Brand Profile. for this I use the textured plate. with allmost any brand I use this method and it is good enough. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/calibration_flow_rate if it doesn’t help maybe you shoud consider to tention your belts?

yeah, I’m going to print a new one with glue because I want to give you a better rating. I think the glue will help it come off better!

Oh ok cool. Yeah if this was printed on the cold plate or engineering plate with no glue then I could see this happening. Hope it all works out!

Hi, it might be that your printer is extruding too much. It should print just fine. Maybe print a tolerance test and see how tight your tolerances are and maybe do a manual flow calibration on tat filament. Is that PLA?

Try this settings -> most PLA needs K-Factor 0.025 (device) and Flow Rate 0.98 (filament settings), have the P1S too.

Prints perfectly and looks fantastic. Hands down the best print from my machine so far. Ran out of filament part way but the effect is even better!

Wow, I have never seen that before! I think something might be messed up with your filament or plate. Or maybe first layer issues? Or maybe something like your black filament is petg while your red is pla? Please check your setup! Edit: After looking closer at your picture it looks like you had changed the settings and resliced. Is that the case? At the moment the only profiles available have 10% gyroid infill and this doesn't look like that. I also see weird blobs and misalignment!

Narr, every other print has been great. You just have too few layers for the logo and too low a fill setting to hold onto them.

Its straight up Bambu PLA for both colours and I printed directly from the BambuHandy app. I did no slicing.

By far the best print-in-place multi-use box out there. This is my fourth one and it hasn't given me a single problem while printing. The only issue I have is the separators are the slightest bit too big in the X axis which causes them to bend. The only way to fix it is to add two separators perpendicular. I currently am printing out a few of them at different sizes to attempt to fix the issue, small as it may be. Printed in BL PLA Silver and BL PLA Blue. Thanks for this awesome design.

Thanks for the comment, really glad you like it! It is interesting how other people’s printers act. Some print the dividers too small and others too big. It is definitely possible to shrink the large 10 space dividers along the Y axis by half a milimeter or so. The slits will still line up enough with the other perpendicular dividers. Also I see you printed the logo version but don’t have a logo on it. That’s most likely why you’re getting those holes on the top. There is a no logo version you might want to check out. Thanks!

Yeah I noticed that after the fact and it was completely my mistake. Not a problem though. I just shrunk the 10 space divider by 0.8% and it fit like a charm. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Good to know about the 0.8%. I'll recommend that to others if they have your same issue.
