Description

We have these kitchen chairs with smaller leg fronts and needed something to fit them. The caps with the cork bottoms didn't want to stay on so I thought lets get some TPU and make something that fits the legs and will go inside the caps pretty easy to allow the chairs to slide on our slate tile floors. So far these have worked out amazing and seem to be really durable. Hopefully if you run into something like I did this will help you out. Good luck and enjoy!

Here are some settings I've used with a few other printers for TPU which have worked great but I haven't had a chance to try it with my Bambu Lab printers yet.

If you do print these on any of the smooth metal surfaces make sure to use some glue stick. I made the mistake once a long time ago and ruined a print bed. It will stick so well you will have to cut it off. So use Glue stick.

Nozzle Temp 240-260 depends on the TPU and if it's dry.
Bed Temp 50-60 Seems to print well any where in this range.
Print speed 25mm/s-40mm/s This will depend on the printer. You can play with this setting a bit to see what works the best.
Retraction enabled
Retraction distance 6mm
Retraction speed 15mm/s

Walls/Perimeters 3 min

Infill I've tested a few and it really doesn't matter with this.

I also have a profile on Thingiverse. You can see this same model on my account there too.

I really like how you get rewarded here on Maker World. Tons better for uploading files.
