Description
Here is my definition of a perfect cardboard coil adapter.
Update (10.12.23)
I made a few improvements in the multicolor profiles and removed the brim in the screw with the external thread.
I reduced the printing speed in the first layer so that the writing is printed cleaner
Update (04.12.23) :
Upon request, I added another version. This can be used to clamp coils with an outside diameter of up to 200mm. The external diameter of 202mm for the AMS specified by Bambulab was not exceeded.
Tip: If your spool has a diameter of less than 195mm, I recommend the smaller version as it fits more precisely on small spools.
It has three hooks that press into the box so nothing slips through.
The treads are extra wide so that the rollers in the AMS do not wear out so quickly.
There is space in the screw connection for silicate gel or some additional weight.
For cardboard spools with an outside diameter of approximately 195mm and a width of 60 to 78mm
I use it with the JAYO coils
There are different Types of profiles: one color, multicolor ones and a version with space for your Labeling like: PLA/PETG and so on…
