Description

Summary

90 rotating elbow hose coupler for Festool hose for connection to Festools line of dust extractors e.g. CT SYS, CT MINI, CT MIDI, CLEANTEC CT 26, CLEANTEC CT 36, CLEANTEC CT 36 AC, CLEANTEC CT 48, CT-VA pre-separator..

Similar to Festools own (456806). This was designed from a straight rotating hose coupler combined with pictures I found online.

Now available both for larger diameter D36 as well as the smaller D27!

Check out my profile, I have other Festool hose adapters as well.

                Filament: Generic PBT and ABS/ASA/PLA/PETG

Notes:

90_degree.stl:

This should be printed with supports in the orientation as downloaded. I had good success with ABS or ASA due to the ease of support removal, but you could potentially print in your preferred material such as PLA or PETG. You might be able to print without support if you rotate it to where the two open hole point upwards like a Y, and sink the semi-flat spot in the ack into the buildplate, ut I have not tried printing it that way.

retainer.stl:

This should be printed with the threaded part upwards. Now available in version without requirement of support. ABS worked perfectly for this. Make sure that the thin lip on the inside rim gets printed properly as this will mate with the vacuum hose.

snap_ring.stl:

I have found that the snap ring should be printed in a semi-flexible material, otherwise it will break the layer adhesion. PBT worked perfectly due to strong layer bonding. I would assume Nylon would be good too. I tried with PETG and ABS, which both snapped, but were still usable if care was taken.
