Assembly:

I have put together a collection of pictures explaining how to assemble ‘Mop Man’ - Please follow them in order:

Finished!

Time to give ‘Mop Man’ a test!!

Tip:

Other Info:

  • I'd recommend not using Matte or Silk PLA unless it is for the surface painted parts only.
  •
  • There should be absolutely no resistance or tight spots in the joints/pivot points once installed. You can check this by loading/unloading filament or manually spinning the extruder wheel when no filament is loaded.
  •
  • Install the face plate exactly like you would install the original, just with extra care! The small clips that hold it in place are weaker than stock when the cover is 3D printed. If you have issues with this, I'd suggest printing it in PETG
  •
  • The face plate is an almost exact copy of the original cover and fits very nicely. (Minus the clear acrylic dome)

I will be releasing the face plate/cover as a few standalone models including: Customizable name tags, Animated characters and a direct replacement for the original factory cover.

Thanks for looking!

I really hope you like this one, and have some fun assembling it! - It's very satisfying to watch this little dude sweep away the dust and poop from your printer ;) haha.

If you have any issues with assembly or functionality, please message me for advice before just leaving a negative comment :)

Hello! - The clips are small and easy to break. I've had most success with Bambu basic PLA as it doesn't seem too brittle and seems fine for repeated use. What filament are you using out of interest? I did have a lot of issues when using matte or silk PLA as it is considerably weaker than normal PLA. Thanks :)
