Description

The “Lid Lift” Just got Updated!

 

Version 2 New Update

  • Embedded magnets for storing on the side or back of your Bambu Printer! See Photos.
  • Always handy when you need them and simple to remove and store when you don't

Note: You need to pause the print two layers before completion to insert TWO 10mmx3mm rare earth magnets. This is your responsibility as the Print Profiles will not do this for you. If you don't want to use this magnetic feature, don't pause the print.

 

The “Lid Lift” vents the chamber for printing PLA and PETG filament. Fits with and without a lid lifter. See photos!

 

Features:

  • Vents chamber for printing with PLA or PETG
  • Designed specifically for those who have the AMS on top
  • Helps protect the glass lid by distributing the weight of the AMS when loaded with filament
  • Simple to install and remove with AMS on top
  • Can be used without an AMS on top as well
  • Works with many lid risers (see last photos)
  • Simple inexpensive print

Is your AMS on top of your Bambu Printer? Have you been leaving the front door open to vent the chamber? Me too, and I was always worried someone would walk by and hit the front door, breaking it. As seen in the photos, this Lid Lift wedge supports the glass from the front all the way to the front feet of the AMS. This helps support and protect the glass by distributing the weight of the AMS with up to 4kg of filament!

 

Bonus: Simple to install and remove as needed without removing the AMS.

 

Note: I recommend NOT using the lid's knob to lift the glass when installing and removing. Instead, from the inside of the chamber push the glass up enough to insert the “Lid Lift”.

The original model kind of rattled when printing or doing the frequency calibrations. So I just added some padding and now it's great.

These printed great, sturdy. I dropped a magnet into the large hole and added epoxy to hold it in place for storing on the side of my cabinet. One suggestion would be to add an option for a magnet.
