Description

Simple mod to improve the 5-fold version of the the amazing Modular Hydroponic Tower Garden

Parts are fully compatible, just some minor changes:

Standard Pot

enlarged the net cups, so they match the height of the standard size versions for the 3-way version - this way they get a bit more volume and catch more of the water, dripping down the center - the angle is a bit different, so they don't collide with eachother and the holes are a bit bigger than in the original (5,75 to 5 mm instead of constant 4 mm

5-Way Module

also i changed the spoke design to 5-fold, since the spokes sit right between the pots and diverge the waterstream a bit, so also a bit more uniform wetting of the roots

Important Notes

be aware, that the 5-way modules are pretty tight in space, so don't plan to grow anything big in there - like a full head of lettuce or a tomato plant - it is intended for smaller plants, like herbs that don't require much space

Printing is easy. It works! It is compatible with other hydrophonic tower components (caps, more stable base...). This setup is inside (hydroponic tent since I don't want to be bothered by lights). I will print another one for outside as soon as the weather is nicer. Note: I prefer to print this version 5 way pot version as it is more versatile. I put black caps on spots I'm not using or I use them to start new plant.

it is fully compatible, only the mesh pots are diffently shaped - so you can use those in the 3-fold-version but not the other way around since they are too big

just saw the 3-pot version is not online anymore... =( just printed the pots, they look great. Hoping for a 3-pot version to have a possibility to stack various sized plants and keep your design. Could you maybe upload files of the other parts needed for a complete assembly?Or do you know If https://makerworld.com/models/229278 is compatible, meaning the “main“ parts fit together? Thank you so much in advance!

That dude has a 3-pot-version in the list - you just need to google a bit, you'll find plenty of variants out there that should be compatible https://www.printables.com/de/model/67968
