Description

Please read these instructions before printing!

Adorable articulated teddy bear, perfect for a toy, a gift or a decorative item. This bear can stand up and sit down, and its arms and head can move.

Works well in single or multi-color prints. Be creative and share your results!

Don't be scared but printing this model will require supports:

An example of a finished print with supports. As you can see, the model is surrounded by these weird structures, which are called supports.

Support structures are used to support overhanging geometries and need to be removed once printing is over.

There are multiple guides online that will teach you how to use and remove supports, but it might be helpful to use some of these tools:

Please avoid applying excessive force by hand, as it might break the printed object.

Bambu Lab also has a great wiki article that explains how you can use different support settings. If you find a better support configuration, please share your print profile.

For a perfectly smooth surface, you can use a different layer height or experiment with variable layer heights. In any case, expect the printing time to increase significantly, especially for multi-color prints.

To minimize filament waste, we strongly recommend printing multiple objects simultaneously.

The provided print profiles are merely suggestions, and when selecting different colors, please ensure that you update the flushing volumes to prevent any unexpected color mixing.

If you want to create your own print profile, please note that the neck is typically the weakest spot. It is recommended to reinforce it with a higher infill or additional wall loops.

This should prevent it from breaking easily when removing supports or playing with the toy.

Less Poop! Optimized Flushing/Priming for A1 Mini 0.16mm layer, 3 walls, 8% infill
supports are not the easiest to remove. I did get them removed but if you move the legs it breaks and the head pops off if you drop it. Was printing it for my niece but it’s to fragile.

I'm totally bummed this happened! I have spent a lot of time making adjustments and am currently waiting on a test print to finish before re-publishing. I've also added a 2nd plate with slightly larger bears just because it bothered me to have empty space :)

I wanted to give people the heads up. Let me know when you reupload the new file. I'll reprint it and edit my rating if Its better and upload new pictures.

Printing this small is the problem, not the actual file. This will happen because as smaller sizes use less plastic, they are way easier to break!

This profile created more waste by a long shot. The amount of excess support material made for a full plate getting tossed right into the poop bin.

I'm so sorry!! Please see my reply above.. I've made changes to almost every element of this profile in order to make sure it prints as perfect for everyone as I can. I'll post videos/pictures once I'm done as well. Once I have a great print with easily removeable supports and happy bears, I'll post the new profile. Again, so sorry for the bad print!!

Perhaps if we went up a bit on size the supports and joints would hold up better? it's a cool print overall

I updated a LOT. Increased the strength and made the supports much easier to remove. Added as 4 plates for options.

whatever you did, issues from previous ratings resolved. supports were a non-issue to remove (less than 5 mins). very very cool.
