Video above will walk you through the assembly of my 3D printed snap latch drill bit case. This rugged Pelican style case only requires two different pieces of hardware and has been successfully snapping open and shut hundreds of times without failure. Bits are organized inside with a shelving system and do not mix when the case is tipped or shaken.
If you are looking for the 99 piece drill bit set, take a look here:
Split pin sizes are 1/8" x 1-3/4" and 1/8" x 3/4"
As an Amazon associate I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you).
Print the top and bottom cases at 0.2mm layer resolution and 20% infill. Latches can be printed at 0.2mm layer and 25%… they will likely get calculated as solid anyways. PLA+ for all parts will work fine - can use PETG if you're worried about PLA cracking (has never happened to me)
