Description

Introducing the Bow Style Sander – your tool for delicate project polishing! This sleek bow ensures swift and efficient finishes on all your creations.

 

What You'll Need:

  • Sandpaper
  • Four (4) M3 x 8mm Screws (Thanks nimmesota_3D for the hardware update!)
  • Your masterpiece in need of a softer sandpaper touch
  • A dash of patience

Simple Installation: Squeeze the bow during sandpaper installation for just the right tension. Experiment with the squeeze for different effects – soft for highly curved surfaces, tight for use like a sanding sponge.

Gently poke the holes with an Allen wrench to kickstart the screws. The design ingeniously uses sandpaper as friction, ensuring a snug fit without over-tightening.

Versatile Design: Explore the small flats on either side for flashing lines or areas requiring more rigidity behind the sandpaper. The corners are perfect for tackling those tricky, hard-to-reach spots, too – no need to change tools as frequently.

One-inch belts cut to size allow you to have a narrow one for fine details, too. Great project. I'd love to make a version with the right-sized hole for a heat insert for strength.

That's a great idea! I just added the new templates! I don't have any heat-set inserts and I had been intending for these to be as cheap as possible for replacement, but I can make a new version that should have the correct size holes if you're willing to test it.

8mm length M3 bolts are the right size, M4 will be way too large.

Thanks for that! I'll update the post and I agree M3 are better and will hold with a simple punch through using a poker
