Check moisture levels at five different depths

Easy soil penetration (be care with plants that have sensitive roots. Consider sanding the tip or heating it up with a lighter and rounding the tip more if your roots are particularly frail).

How to use:

1: Push into soil until the depth you require, twist at least 90 degrees and then gently remove.

2: Visually check if soil looks wet/dry

3: If you are not happy with the visual inspection, tap the indicator to release the samples.

4: Squeeze soil samples between your fingers and...

if the soil is dry, loose and light: Time to water!

If the soil is damp and clings to your finger: Do not water, and check again periodically

if the soil is wet and squishy and its been a while since watering: Do not water, and consider making several more holes to help aerate the plant or repotting your plant.
