Description

UPDATE 13th December: A Christmas Angel version is also now available: https://makerworld.com/en/models/91216#profileId-97549

A charming Christmas decoration that can be displayed with, or without, an LED tealight candle!

Charming lighting for your home

Great for gifts, or for subtle decoration around your home. The example was printed in Bambu Lab PLA Matte White and looks fantastic even without the tea light.

FEATURES

  • Fits any LED tealight up to 39mm diameter
  • Two part print for easy assembly
  • Multi-material compatible (Wireframe and outer edge are separate objects)

Easy assembly

OTHER VERSIONS

If you like this decoration, there is a Christmas Angel version available here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/81794#profileId-87041

PROFILE NOTES

There are some challenging overhangs in this design, but it should print without supports. If you're tweaking things, be careful of adjusting speed - there are some very fine details in the wireframe and will likely fail at high speed.

Unfortunately, some parts didn't turn out quite so nicely, some of the bridges couldn't be created cleanly. Perhaps it was also due to the filament used (eSUN PLA+).

It is very important to choose the right material for the slicing software. In addition, the A1mini has a cantilever structure, and the base plate will move quickly and shake a lot, so it is relatively difficult to print the bridge. I couldn't even print it with the original version, so I made this version later. , I’ve tried my best, hope you can understand..

The work will be affected if the material gets wet, but your photos look pretty good.

Thanks for your reply, I have adjusted the rating as I also think the filament is partly to blame :)

Habe das Model etwas in die Höhe gezogen und einige als Weihnachtsdeko produziert. Teelichter mit Timer eingesetzt und alles war super
