Description

Using our "AMS lite tower cap rings" makes the unit look so much better. But what if you want to go up one level and put something on top? Whatever you want, whatever you imagine!

To help you with this task we are happy to present the "AMS lite accessories kit" which you can modify and use by your taste. It includes:
- Base: for connecting to AMS unit. It has integrated pins to connect to caps.
- Shaft: around 10mm on top of all caps. You can use this to connect to your accessory of choice.
- "Shaft long": around 50mm on top of all caps. You can use this to connect to your accessory of choice.
- Cap: this helps you keep the shaft in place with the base. It has only one way getting in and has integrated clips to help staying in place. (model called Tapa)
- Cap with hinges: this helps you keep the shaft in place with the base. Useful for models like the flag included that needs to be printed in place. It has only one way getting in and has integrated clips to help staying in place. (model called Tapa hinged)

Tips:
- If you need longer shaft than the model, but shorter than the long version, just perform a cut in slicer to your desire.
- You can attach the "shaft" to your models inside slicer or any 3D modeling program if needed.
- As an alternative you can leave a hole in your model and the accessory can be attached after printing. This could be achieved inslide slicer or any 3D modeling program if needed. Hole with dimensions of 2.3mm - 2.5mm should work, depending on printer.
- You can always attach your favorite items using glue or any other method.
- Or drilling them :D
- If items are too heavy gluing the caps might be needed. Glue them while they are off the AMS!

Printing tips:
- The prints were optimized for Bambu Lab Filaments and A1 mini using 0.16 layer height default profile. Results may vary depending what you are using.
- Recommended to use "Random" seam positioning, so the parts stay as round as possible.
- For caps use "classic" slice engine (as default)
- If you print the hinged cap be careful before first operating it. You might need to help the separation with a knife as the top layer leaves wider extrusion line (happened using non BBL filament). Just be careful and take your time. It should not take more than 15-20sec.
- If you print the hinged cap there are integrated supports. You can turn those off from objects tab in your slicer. If you print them use 1 wall, 1 top and 1 bottom layer for easy separation. When print is done push them inside (pointing the center of the print) and they should come off easily (depending of filament).

As a bonus model you can find a 3 part flag including:
- Long shaft with flag, flat on bottom for color printing flat.
- Long shaft cut: optional if you wish to complete the form of the shaft. You have to glue those parts after printing.
- You would need the base and caps from main file(s) - (base+caps.3mf or separate files for base and hinged tapa)

Printing tips:
- You can color paint the flag if you do not desire 3 colored one. Use BBL slicer and paint whatever.
- Don't forget to (auto-)calibrate your "Flishing colors".
- You can use ironing on to each of the Flag objects
- You can apply heat to the model and bend it like a real flag.
