Catch-All trays are great. But having the choice is even greater. So I designed a modular catch-all tray.
For the base I used my modular baseplates remix for the Gridfinity system (https://www.printables.com/model/360046-gridfinity-modular-baseplates) The baseplates can be screwed together, so you can decide for yourself if you want to go big or small or any form you like.
With a catch-all tray you not only want to store your stuff, you want to display your stuff. To achieve this I wanted to go with a minimalistic design for the catch-all tray. And what fits this better than a japanese inspired design. So all catch-all tray modules are super minimalistic and feature a traditional japanese pattern inspired embossing.
But great simplistic design also comes with ease of usage. All catch-all tray modules have holes on the bottom where you can glue in magnets and the baseplates are design to hold screws as magnetic counterparts. That way the catch-all tray modules will hold firmly to the base and are removable easily. Move them around, design your own patterns and adapt them to your changing needs for this EDC catch-all tray.
The bottom of the catch-all tray modules are compatible with the Gridfinity system and based on the specification available at https://gridfinity.xyz/specification/ which is shared unter the licence https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 This design is used for technical reasons so the catch-all tray modules will be able to fit on a gridfinity baseplate.
Any other part of the catch-all tray modules is completely designed by myself.
I marked this model as a remix because I included the modular baseplate form https://www.printables.com/model/360046-gridfinity-modular-baseplates, (also by me) that are needed to complete the project. I did this to have all files that are needed to complete this project in one place.
