Outdated design, i recommend the Nano Extruder instead http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27577
As i got a PG35L extruder into my hands i need an extruder to fit on my Orca.
So i decided to make another mashup from the already available PG35L Micro Extruder my Universal-Wade and is again optimized to work with uniX-Carriage
for Orca http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25420
or Prusa http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25600
This extruder should fit on any Printer with 50mm mounting holes
1,75mm and 3mm Filament Support (1,75 with brass inset)
compatible with J-Head/Groovemount/Reprapfab/Geeksbase/Mendelparts V9/v10 and probably alot of other hotends
Testprint was with 0,35mm nozzle at 0,28mm layerheight without Support.
Print all Extruder parts and the Inset of your Hotend.
I recommend to print with 60% infill or more !
there are two version of the insets, one with 16,7mm for well tuned printer, and one with 16,4mm for not so well tuned printer ;)
*For Reprapfab/Geeksbase Hotend you need to rasp the screws square and press them (from left to right) tight to the hotend when mounting.
the important corner is on the upside of the hotend (Pictures show only the lower side !)
EDIT: It seems that i made a mistake when making the Mounting plate holes for V9/v10
so there is a new mounting plate necessary for this Extruder (carriertemplatePG35fixed.stl)
vitamins:
1x PG35L motor
1x MK7 Pulley or compatible
1x 40mm fan
2x spring for Idler (should fit over M4 screw)
2x M4x60 screw (or 70mm if available)
1x ziptie ?
1x 8x24mm bolt (20mm is also long enough)
1x 608 bearing
8x M3 nut (nylock if possible excepted the idler nut )
3x M3x30mm screw
1x M3x15mm screw
4x M3 washer (and if no nylock nuts additional 10x springwasher)
2x M4 Nut (not nylock !)
2x M4 nylock nut
2x M4 screw lenght should fit with your X-Carriage
4x M4 washer (two for idler two for carriage)
1x Hotend of your choice
Additional parts for Mendel-Parts V9 / V10:
1x 28x32x2mm thick metal plate, cut and drilled to fit into the printed "carrierplatePG35fixed.stl" and then drill the holes
1x M6 brass nut
2x M4 nylock nut
2x M4x15 screw
For 1,75mm filament printing you need a brasstube with d=2,4mm / D=3mm
