Description

I have a Craftsman T2500 Lawn Tractor and I noticed that the steering was becoming erratic on it. It was gradually getting worse over time. Well I was doing maintenance this week on the tractor and noticed the front left tire was leaning to the left and the tractor was a little lower on that side. Upon inspection of the front tire I noticed that it was only being held on by a clip and two washers and that it was hanging directly on the axel. Well I took the tire off and the bushing was missing. It must of deteriorated over time and just fell out.

I went online and they don't just sell the bushing that goes into the center of the tire. You have to buy a whole new tire for around $100. Well I figured I could just print a new one with some flexible filament on my 3D printer. So I measured the cavity of the wheel where the bushing goes and found out that its smaller on one end then the other (a cone shape). I measure the axel and created the bushing.

After printing this you may want to sand the outside and the inside as well. I did mine and then I greased it up and slid it on.
