Description

This was designed to repair the broken hinges on the center console arm rest cover of a Volkswagon Golf, but if my research is correct, I think it will work on several Volkswagon models including many Volkswagon Golf, Jetta, Beetle, Bora, Passat, Lupo, and Skoda Octavia.

Your best bet is to look at the included picture to see if your hinges look the same.

If so, the repair involves cutting off whatever remains of the factory “arms” using a rotary tool, and gluing (I recommend JB Weld) and/or screwing this plate in place. It should be centered, and the edge should line up with the rectangular indent on the inside of the cover.

This should be printed in a heat tolerant material as PLA will not last in a hot car. I printed this at a 0.2 layer height WITH supports out of black PETG.
