Makerworld has significantly reduced the download/print points awarded to designers. Instead, they have introduced the "Boost" coupon, which you can apply to models that may not be the most popular (already gaining points from downloads and prints), but are useful or meaningful to you in general. This supports and encourages us, the "losers" (those not focusing on popular themes like Star Wars, car keychains, countless airless balls, etc.), to create more useful or niche designs.

I gifted my girl a Fire 8 HD (2022) Gen 12th from Amazon as a Christmas present and designed this case for her.

It's a two-layered tough armor-type case, featuring a TPU inner sleeve and a PLA hard outer shell. This will fit the plus version as well.

All openings are carefully aligned for the back camera, speakers, earphone jack, USB-C power, and microSD card (though the thickness compromises a bit of ease of access, it's manageable). The TPU sleeve includes soft buttons for power and volume, ensuring easy access when in the PLA case.

The aligned camera opening remains clear from interfering the view.

The case features 1.5 mm raised brims to protect the screen when laying the device screen-side down on the table.

The PLA hard shell case cannot be used alone, and I have not tested using the TPU sleeve printed with hard material. If you plan to do so, you're on your own risk, and don't blame me by giving a bad rating. You've been warned.

Print profiles have been tested and optimized with multiple test prints. If you encounter issues, please leave a message, and I'll be happy to help. Leaving a bad rating without communicating helps no one.
