Description

How to build the LED Christmas Tree:

 

What you need:

  • 5 pixels of WS2811 (5V) LED chain
  • A NODE MCU or some other ESP8266 controller
  • 3 M3x10mm screws to srew the bas to the tree
  • 4 M2.5x10mm screws to screw the NodeMCU to the base

How to flash your ESP:

How to build:

  • glue the 5 LED pixel in place
  • connect the 3 pins from the LEDs to the Node MCU, ground to GND, signal to D4 (by default) 5V to VU
  • screw the NodeMCU onto the base
  • try if everything works
  • screw the lid onto the ground of the module

I printed it in transparent green PETG in vase mode and shrunk it down 50%

Yeah i also started like this, but it was too flimsy then in PLA, probably just fine in PETG tho :D thanks for sharing!
