Description

The Rails and Endcaps are not compatible with the original rails/endcaps, they have different thicknesses

Absolutely love the original design but a few things didn't work out for me. I added a few extra mm to the base to clear the edge of my cabinets as well as shaved a bit of material form the slides as i had issues with them sliding.

Print how ever many bases you want +Endcap, then slides for each, a bottom, and which ever size top, and one cap

(the depth of my cabinet was perfect to where i didn't need the endcaps.)

Just made these for our spice cabinet. Amazing design & concept. I did scale the width of TOP RAIL (which isn't so much a top rail but a RAIL INSERT) to 98.5% - and I probably should have even gone a bit farther to maybe 97.5% ?? It's just a pretty snug fit, and 100% was too tight / abrasive in my case. I did have to get special fender washers and I used 15mm book binders. Works amazingly well, and the bonus is, my wife went a full day assuming they were "store bought" - when she found out I printed these myself, she was blown away. Note, I did alter the top trays in a few ways. I made them smaller because I don't have as much height in my cabinet... I also made a few solid bottoms instead of having the long slotted bottom (for items like toothpicks and really small salt & pepper shakers... and I made a few with higher sides for sauce packets, etc.

The end-cap x3 was uploaded incorrectly. This should be downloaded from the link. Shame I printed that large plastic waste.

Hey sorry that happened, this isn't the same as the original system. The end caps and rails have a thicker base on them as I have a lip on my cabinets preventing the system from sliding. These pieces do not mix and match with the original system.

Clarification please. Was this a problem with redline.fourie having pieces from the other design attempting to use pieces from your modified design together, or are the pieces here just modified to not work all together with one another. Basically, do the "taller" base work with the "thicker" end-cap x3 and rails in these files?

I love your design; I wish you would have one file with multiple plates.

Hey I can certainly do that! I split them up because of the custom nature of the project depending on what sizes you needed.

Somehow I spend a lot material on this project due to too less information. Wish you had explained a bit more (measurements, which order, …) while also linking the original. As also mentioned it would be nice if you would have prepared some beds instead having so many project files.

The 3x End cap you provided doesn't seem to be the remixed version. Do you have a correct version?
