Dry Dock is a model that lets you store your infusers and bags over a tray, so you can keep your tea area neat and dry.

If you are a tea lover, you know how important it is to have a place to put your infusers and bags after brewing. You don’t want them to drip on your table, create a mess, or go to waste. That’s why you need Dry Dock, a printed stand that solves this problem. Dry Dock is a parametric Fusion360 model that can fit different kinds of infusers and bags. It has a round center holder for infusers, and a notch for hanging two bags at once, along with two optional tying posts for hanging bags (see picture). You can change the holder diameter in the Fusion360 file to suit your infuser. By default it is designed to fit well with the popular Finum infuser here (large size). You can of course reuse your infusers and bags for more brews. I place a paper towel (shown in pictures) to absorb the tea, but this is optional, and you can simply rinse off the plastic as well.

Dry Dock is a perfect accessory for your tea time. It is recommended to print it in PETG or ASA for heat resistance, but PLA may also work. The recommended layer thickness is 0.2 mm, and I used 3 walls and 15% infill, however 2 walls may also work fine here.

Assembly notes:

If you want to use dry dock to hold tea bags too, print the included tying posts and press fit the tapered posts into place. If needed you can add a drop of superglue in the holes to keep them there permanently.
