A simple puzzle that may pose a larger challenge than expected. but i believe you guys and gals can solve it.
You will need a length of string (approx 12") that will not pull through the small knobs once knotted.
There are two methods to challenge youself with this puzzle:
- Tie the ring on to the puzzle when assebling taking care to ensure the string goes over and under the ring and string crossing as shown in the picture. Then attempt to remove the ring. OR
- assemble the string to the base plate threaded through a diagonal pair of holes, parallel with one side across the back, then diagonally to the last open hole. tie on the knobs and then attempt to put the ring onto the puzzle so it ends up looking like the cover photo.
Option 1 will be more difficult to assemble and option 2 will be more difficult to solve.
