Jan 28th 2024 Update:

Added a taller (+10mm) option as well as versions of both heights without the center support spoke.

Description:

A simple support-free AMS holder for those who don't have or don't want to use the glass top on their Bambu printer. Fits both new and old AMS shells (the versions with 3 slots on each side and the version with 5 slots on each side).

It's just tall enough that the PTFE tube should not rub on the bottom of the AMS much, if at all. other shorter AMS holders can lead to PTFE tubing being sanded into a powder and landing on the bed, causing failed prints.

This was designed from scratch but I've marked it as a remix of another model that I was inspired by and just needed to make a bit taller.

Design fits nicely, print profile is clean.

I just printed it but it is still hitting my PTFE tube. I was going to increase the height but then everything increases when i do that in the slicer.

The designer has replied

One of my 4 machines still grazed it as well so I pushed the PTFE tube out the rear a bit to compensate. That being said I have a version that's 1cm taller I'm going to post today :)
