Description

Maker World does not allow you to upload a 3mf with custom Gcode, in the fifth image you can see the command that you must use for temperature changes, it is added in the right bar as custom G-code: “M104 S[Target temperature]”

 

Customised layered G-Code:
- layer 44: M104 S225
- layer 84: M104 S220
- layer 124: M104 S215
- layer 164: M104 S210
- layer 204: M104 S205
- layer 244: M104 S200
- layer 284: M104 S195
- layer 324: M104 S190

 

In this image you can see how to enter the custom Gcodes to set the printing temperature manually, you must also choose the maximum temperature as the printing temperature in the profile of your filament.

 

 

 

Towe Temp for PLA 230-190ºC

Tower Temp for ABS 270-230ºC

Tower Temp for PETG 250-220ºC

 

If your tower has a lot of threads between the cones, you can try printing this design and calibrate your retractions, I hope it helps!

for those you are having troubles to edit the G-Code this is the explanation: In Bambu Studio go to Preview Tab. In the right of the screen you have the layers that will be printed. Every 40 layers starting from the first layer right click and click on Add G-Code. Then add the text "M104 S230". S230 is the temperature, M104 is the GCode to change the temperature. Every 40 layers change S230 with the correct temperature. Don't Change M104. Always write "M104 S{TEMPARERATURE HERE}"

The top-right has a drop down where it says "color scheme." You can change that to "temperature" and it will color the model based on the temperature settings.

hey I'm having some trouble with my prints recently, can't get rid of the stings like this here. I figured it was temp or retraction- you're saying if it looks like this it is obviously moisture? I'm brand new to the hobby

PLA shouldn't string like this, from what I see the 220C is ideal temperature for bambu. Stringing with petg is more common, there it is retraction issue :)

Hello Newbie here, do you know why my Temp Towers 55° corners are messed up? Everything else came out good. I did this to try and fine tune my prints. I don't know what else to do besides this and auto-leveling. Do you recommend anything else?

looks like poor part cooling to me. Try to turn the model around in the slicer, so that the part cooling fan is orientated to the direction of the overhang. Is it made on a bambu printer?

i can´t remember my print orientation but never had that problem on my P1S. however, i am confident that turning 90 degree will fix it. There are many reasons why this can happen. (filament, different filament settings like print- and fan speeds (especially outer walls and overhang settings),...)

in case you can not see any visual difference, you can try to snap it apart at the 45 degree overhang and see if the layer adhesion gets better at higher temps/is weak on lower temps :)

G-code is easy to edit if you follow instructions closely. 230c appears to give the best results with ESun PLA Matte.
