Description

I've been dreaming about a mount that is discrete for my motorcycle, and easy to set and remove the camera.

And this is it! It uses a PeakDesign Capture to bolt to this base on the side fixings of the headlamps. It's discrete and easy to remove and put on thanks to the PD Capture system.

You can either set your camera directly with the J mount, or a selfie stick for 360 shots.

Extra materials:
* A PD Capture (I used my old V1 and think it works with others but need someone to confirm)
* 2 Threaded inserts M5x9,5

Steps:

1. Print the PD-Base-HeadLamp (I used Bambu PC but you can use PETG, ASA, ABS, PA-CF)

2. Print the TPU inserts:

a) 1x Wall TPU S, 3x TPU-BottomInsert, 1x (Or two for more protection) TPU TOP

b) If the “Wall TPU S” is too thin you can print “WallTPU L”

3. Apply the threaded inserts to the PD-Base-HeadLamp from the top.

4. Put the “TPU-BottomInsert” and set the “PD-Base-HeadLamp” to the headlamp bracket.

5. Put the “TPU TOP” insert(s).

6. Fix the PD Capture to the base

The print is designed for the right side of the headlamp due to how the different pieces fit, and end up blocking or making it challenging for the left. But you can mirror it and see if it fits.

If you want me to make it for other systems or motorcycles please provide details and I'll try to make other versions.
