Printing
The parts should be printed on a smooth build plate.
If possible, avoid elephant foot.
I printed the model on a PRUSA MINI, with PLA+ filament, layer height 0.15 mm.
Glue with Hard Plastic Glue where necessary.
Printing instructions are provided with every .stl file.

Assembly
Assembly in alphabetical order.
Assembly instructions can be found in 10 screenshots.

The gearbox can be joined to compatible 4-stroke engines
Print parts “N - Sled and Engine Connection.stl”.
To couple the gearbox to the engine, the “Cranked Handle” of the engine must be removed.
The engine, coupling bracket and gearbox click into the Sled.

Great design, I like it! One little problem; there is too much play in the sliding dog clutches; they can be glued at a slight angle, that you'll likely only notice after building it in... Potential improvements; - angled dowels, so you wouldn't need glue on the house (would help with fixing small eff-ups) - tightening the play on the dog clutch - connecting the shifters so it's a single-stick shifter

Thanks for your feedback! - I do not understand what you mean by angled dowels, Can you explain? - Where in the design of the dog clutches should the play be less? - Haha, connection the shifters would make it impossible to shift: it would block the gearbox. Only a complete redesign would help.

Replying to @Bootjevaarder :
- Dowels: I mean dowels that would be slightly conical, so they'd stick together when inserted all the way, but still removable. Or some other way to allow disassembly. - dog clutch: I've managed to put the two parts of it together with a slight offset, so the end result is that they wobble and occasionally engage the gear. Sadly now it's all glued together so there's that. But if it had less play on the axle, I could not have put it together like this - or if the two bits would fit together tighter, maybe without glue... - I see. I have a wooden version, that looks & works very-very similar, and they've created a plate for the shifter that manages the magic. It's a Ugears StemLabs gearbox, in case you want to look it up. Regardless, all in all, it's a fantastic design and a very cool print, love it :)
