Description

The basic idea of this mouse bungee is great (good job mattiameneguolo), but the design has some weaknesses. I decided to fix the flaws I found and uploaded a remix of the model. You still need to glue the top part to the main base.

I changed:

 

base:
redesigned from scratch (the original mesh was a disaster, every wall is slightly angled and the mesh is a complete mess so I modeled a new one)
- height changed so that tabletops < 2.5cm also work
- improved the cable channel on the back so that the cable really stays inside
- removed small support triangle and its mount -> instead angled support with 2 surfaces
- width of the stand mount increased so that it fits better
- vertical plate made slightly thicker
- plate rounded at the top for aesthetics
- new recommendation for print orientation: thread must face vertically, but top with support structure (not visible when installed anyway)
- changed the thread

screw:
- holding grip looks fancy but destroys your hand with these sharp pointy tips -> changed it to a hexagon head screw
- changed the thread

-made longer

stand:
- angle increased from 45° to 90° for better printability without support

Printed everything out of PLA, fits very well even on a 39mm desk. Good design, thank you.
