Description

Simple to print, you dont need a multi colour AMS or MMU unit. All you need is black and white filament. This will print in any FDM printer capable of printing 0.08 layer height.

This filament painting is created with Steve Lavitas' brilliant Hueforge software. It creates beautiful colour 3D prints from images. Photos dont do justice to the prints, they have to be seen and felt to be appreciated. The original image was converted to black and white and optimised for Hueforge.

About the Model:

The lithograph portrays Lord Ganesh in a majestic and captivating manner, capturing the essence of his divine presence as he performs the Tandav dance. The lithograph is richly detailed by the studios of J.B.Khanna and Co.

Ganesh's four arms are gracefully positioned to perform the Tandav dance. His front two arms are elegantly raised in the classic Nataraja pose, with his right hand forming the Abhaya Mudra, symbolizing protection and reassurance. The other two arms extend outward from his sides. In one hand, Lord Ganesh wields a powerful axe (Parashu), signifying the destruction of obstacles and negativity in the lives of his devotees. In the other hand, he holds a goad (Ankusha), representing his ability to guide and control the human mind and desires.

Printing Instructions:

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Filaments Used:
PLA+ Esun Black Transmission Distance: 2.6
PLA+ Esun White Transmission Distance: 10

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #7 (0.64mm) swap to White for the rest.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For colour accuracy you will need to print with white filament with a Transmission Distance (TD) of 10. The TD of the black does'nt seem to matter. But dont worry, just use ESUN White and Black. I chose Esun because that brand seems to be universally available across the world. You will have the same result with ANY white filament with a TD of 10. To find the TD of your filament check out:
