Description

A camera mount for mounting a Ubiquiti Unifi G3 Instant on a Bambulab P1S printer for using it as print cam.

Designed in two parts for easier printing. There should be more than enough clearance between the two parts for an easy connection.

Designed in Fusion 360, f3d file also included.

When using a G3 Instant camera you need to disable the IR leds because of reflections of the glass of the printer.

Recommended settings in images.

Do you happen to have this for the G4 Instant Camera?

Not yet because I don't have access to a G4 Instant. I could try to model it of the dimensions from the Unifi webpage, but can't guarantee if it will fit. Would you test it? I also uploaded the model on Thingiverse (same Title) and included the f3d Fusion360 file there if you are interested in modeling it yourself.

I have a G4 Instant here and the data from the spec sheet seems to be correct so far: 81.6 x 50 x 47.2 mm I would also be happy to test the print as I would indeed need it.

holds the camera at the right angle etc. need to make the hole bigger to stop showing up in the shot without it being perfect

How do you get the holder in your camera picture? Does it happen when the camera is rotated to the left or right or is it something else?

I slide the camera in no issues etc. I just get a small amount of the hole still showing through. not a big deal

Worked great. Changed the base print angle 5 degrees and made it flat to use on the p1p without a lid using double sided tape. Would recommend increasing the lens hole a little bit more so it doesn't show up on camera.
