Description

This adds weight to your spools so they stay in place when there is little filament left.

Tested with many brands of filament spools like Prusa, Raise3d, Sunlu, Eryone, BambuLab, Wanhao, Flsun, Geeetech…

Some spools like Geeetech need “Extender.stl” part to be used because the inner diameter is larger than normal.

It was modeled to be used with a weight of 500g available here:

Prints great, works great. This spool weight has fixed the majority of my AMS problems. Fits every spool I have tried it with. The cheapest thing I found to fill it with was pennies.

Good design. fits 500g weight very well. just needed to put a bit of paper tissue to complete security a weight ant completely prevent wobbling. only sad about it is a license type. I made an adapter for my very wide SUNLU spools and wanted to share it as Remix, but found that licencing doesn't allow to do anything.

These are so nice. Solved my AMS problems with light spools and also some filament dryers I have mounted at an angle on printers. Since I mostly use Bambulab spools or clones of BL spools, I created a small conical spacer accessory that takes up any slack in fitment and perfectly centers the weight. Thanks for the design and for sharing.
