Clever design, kudos! How did you insert the last wire? It seems like one of the chamfered faces should have a groove to allow full access to the hole, but maybe I am missing something. Maybe you can thread it in because the filllament is so flexible? I am trying to print a box that is big enough to fit the moonlight for a present and your design looks perfect for that.. :) https://www.printables.com/model/23859-designer-lithophane-moon-lamp

Done the remix. The moon fits beautifully inside. Thanks for the great design. After I enlarged the box to the maximum the plate would contain, I found out that the hinges can be much smaller. 2 cm would be enough. :) https://makerworld.com/en/models/84033#profileId-89823

Prints very easily. I printed using cold plate that already had glue stick. Would recommend using a different plate as the glue can be difficult to clean off thr part. Only issue I had was getting filament all the way through from one side to the other to attach the sides. everyone loved the box and I ended up printing more to give away.

Great model! had a little trouble getting filament through some holes. Chamfer around box top could have used supports, but still came out ok. printed in: green bambu pla lava red polyterra cotton white polyterra
