3D model description

I've had a lifelong interest in paleo animals and dinosaurs.... long before every kid does now after Jurassic Park movies. But I've always wanted a large scale model of a mammoth with this trumpeting pose. So here's a go at it.

Its relatively high poly so it can be easily scaled up to any size and painted to taste.

I call it a Fantasy Mammoth because its not accurate to any species.... though I think of it as Colombian or Imperial with the head crest. Unlike the Wooly it was much larger than a modern elephant (14 ft and 10 tons) and may have roamed through here in Illinois. Its lower legs have shed most of its heavy coat so it would be molting... sometime in late Spring as it were.

3D printing settings

There are 7" and 5" models included (both shown in pics)
I also included a 2 color 3mf file for suitable printers.
The 7" shows this, with ivory filament tusks and toenails. But you can also use a paint marker for this.

Would be interested to see someone talented paint this model and upload a make. But it also looks pretty neat just as a stone statue.

Printed with Overture Rock PLA, ROHS Bone Ivory PLA+
