Description

Edit: I added a solid Piston for people that don't want to add the magnet.

Never lose your keys again with this little magnetic keychain shaped like an engine piston.

Use it to keep your keys where you can find them again.

Stick them on the fridge or your toolbox or anything else metal.

Never lose your keys again!

Just print the file, assemble it and insert one 10mm diameter magnet (3 or 5 mm thick) in the piston head and presto!

made a bunch of them. prints easy but had a very tight fit for the magnet. had to melt it a bit. so next batch I printed at 100.5% worked perfectly

instead of scaling the piece you can also set "x-y hole compensation" to 0.1 to enlarge the hole.

I like this piston keyring a lot! The profile worked well in my A1 Mini. But in the one prepared for the magnets, i had to bebel a little bit so i could introduce 2 10x2mm magnets (the ones i had) . For better adhesion i also applied a little bit of cyanoacrilate, and it seems good and strong. Thanks!

I don't have the magnet for it but I can't help but want to make a little cylinder to that is the same size so it can hold my keys. I love this and I used a small drill to widen the hold to stick a piece of filament in and crushed it with pliers on the ends with the one that failed to print correctly.
