Hello everyone,

UPDATE 10/03/2024

New upper inner tray profile added. Easy to print.

To assemble you need 4pcs magnets 8x1,5mm and 2pcs filaments for hinges.

There were a lot of questions and a lot of you asked for a bigger case, so we decided to make it.

This is the 3rd case we made and the largest, the XL model

The difference from the previous models is that we changed the design of the clips, and the hinges are 0.5mm thicker than the first standard, we think that's a sweet spot.

Also, the inner boxes are larger and are modular. You can remove the partitions, and increase or decrease the inner box according to your needs.

Big advantage is that the inner boxes are compatible with those of the smaller models, which you can see in the last two pictures.

Simple print without support

All parts are completely printed with PLA, only the gasket needs to be printed with TPU in order to close smooth and seal nicely.

To assemble it, you need:

6pcs M3 nuts

2 pcs of screws M3x32mm

3pcs of screws M3x20mm

Printed this case with black PLA, looks good. I need it a little bit bigger, do you think a XXL version is possible? 1-2 cm to the wide and deep.

Have you tryed maybe in slicer resize it maybe to 105%… I am not sure will all work fine that but its option

What’s the biggest box you can make in a X1 Carbon? I made this one but I had to stretch it so holes wound up goofy!

That looks interesting. Maybe you can try to drill the holes to fit some other screw? :D

Well since I had to stretch the whole thing the hinges were too long to allow the lid to open without breaking! I filed them down but two of them broke.

I scaled and stretched the bottom as much as I could to fill the volume and then made the lid 1/3 the size of the base.

this case is awesome there are so many useful ways this case can be used for me I did not print the trays. I used it for spare printer parts. I threw a vinyl bambu lab sticker on it for labeling purposes.

yes it’s transparent blue TPU. the only reason I used blue it was all I had lol.

mine turned out awesome I did kind of a military theam. Army green, and a desert tan for the latches. I threw a vinyl sticker on it with the bambu logo. so I knew this utility case was for extra parts for my printer. So on this one I did not print the trays.
