Description

Here we have the bigger version of the Screwless Vice I uploaded some time ago, this vice is the the same principle as the initial vice.

To use the vice you slacken off the turn screw until the slider carriage moves freely along the main body, then push the slider carriage up to the component you want to grip and then tighten the screw to grip the component, its as easy as that.

The thread on this model is 8mm allowing more purchase to grip components but always bear in mind it is only PLA Plastic but saying that it is quite strong for what it is.

The threads on both the T bar and the turn screw have been off-set which makes them easier to turn etc, I just work the threads once started clockwise and Anti clockwise a bit at a time and they free off quite nicely,

It will be very useful to Model/Hobbiest enthusiasts etc, no chance of shorting out any electronics with these PLA Printed Vices.

One thing to note on the printing side of things is that the 3mf file doesn't include the M8 T Bar, this is in the RAW files, I printed this separate as it didn't need any support and it's printed with 100% Rectilinear infill for added strength the other components I used support from the build plate up only, make sure you tick that box.

Thanks for Looking.
