Description

As I continue to learn Fusion360 and design more things, I kept wanting to tackle the infamous “junk drawer” in the kitchen.

Nothing drives me more crazy than the ziplock / snack bags that come in a cardboard box and do not fit in the drawers. Every time I would open or close the door, they would jam up or get more ripped.

Plus, with starting the gridfinity project for organization, it just did not look right.

So I worked on designing a ziplock bag holder, that was simplistic, but had a secure lid. I wanted the lid to stay on when opening and closing the door and taking out a bag but be easy enough to remove for refilling the bags up.

(my original design can be found here https://makerworld.com/en/models/158839)

I stetched it out to fit gallon bags, and this was my also my attempt at spliting a larger design and having it assembled with plugs and holes.

PLEASE GIVE FEEDBACK IF ANYTHING CAN BE IMPROVED ON.

I’m not a big fan of the split joint. I don’t know how I would have done it differently. too new at this. otherwise it turned out well.

This looks like a very nice model Anthony, thanks for sharing your design! Very nice and clean kitchen drawer, I am working through mine right now also. Do you still have this model (and ideally the foil / saran wrap one you designed) as a one piece file, before you split it? That would be great to have for those of us with big printers, to not to have the joint. Thanks in advance and best regards from Austria, Lukas
