Air duct heat transfer system
Please read all the instructions before printing and buying parts.
→ Make sure to calibrate dimensions with the filament you are going to use. Print a 100mm long calibration stick, measure it and enter the shrinkage (PLA is around 99.54%). Use Orca Slicer, my version of Bambu Studio do not support shrinkage.
Print with support if needed. I used AddNorth X-PLA and Bambu Lab Tough PLA for a bit more flex.
Features:
The ducts pushes in to each other so a 50mm duct is 47mm long when assembled and so on. Secure the fitting with CA-glue(if printed in PLA).
ON/OFF text is embossed on the lid for easy coloring in slicer. If you don't want the text, just print it in plain color.
For power supply I used a MEAN WELL HDR-15-12 but you can use any type you like that fits a DIN-rail
The fan I used is a “be quiet! Pure Wings 2 140mm”
You also need 16pcs - 8x2mm neodymium magnets for the two hoods.
To remove the lid, grab the narrow part of the lid and pull.
If the ducts don't fit your wall, use at least 2pcs of duct50flex.stl. It allows for more adjustment.
V2:
Higher airflow with new hoods and uses 8mm x 2mm magnets for a more secure mounting.
