I don't have easy access to the back of my printers and got tired of disconnecting the AMS to spin the printer just to adjust the X/Y belt tensioners. This spacer allows you to replace the stock M3x6mm hex screws with M3x20mm thumb screws so you can easily reach behind the printer to tension the belts.

I recommend adding a small drop of blue loctite to the end of the thumb screw to prevent them from wiggling loose. I didn't have loctite on hand when I replaced mine but I've been using these spacers with thumb screws for a few months now and have not experienced any issues. The stock screws have blue loctite on them so thus the recommendation.
