First half came out great using Polyterra Marble PLA (reduced printing speed to 70 mm/s as per filaments Technical Data Sheet). Printing the other part now, will update :) Second plate printed okay as well, but slight amount of warping at the bottom (build plate). So maybe adding a brim could be worthwhile. I did print with the door open.

This looks amazing. Sorry if that's a silly question, but how does it self-water? :D If I understand the design correctly, the hexagon part of plate 2 will go into the socket of plate 1. The plant and soil will go into plate 2. But the water also has to go into plate 2, doesn't it? So where's the difference to normal vases? Or is the difference, that the water can push out of the small holes? I'm considering printing this as a present, I just want to understand how this works, before I feel like an total idiot while handing this to a friend :)

Hiii :) thanks for questions ❤️ i will explain it. In the plate 1 you should put the water and in the plate 2 the soil and the plant. When there is the water in the lower part the soil and the plant will feed itselt by the water thanks to the holes in the lower part. The pentagonal patter in the base ensure the alignment of the seam between the two parts. Write again if you have another questions 👍🏻
