Update 31.01.2024:
- Improved ergonomics: increased the front width of the slots for easier plate insertion. Added signs (circles) for 1,3,5 slots to see faster which slot corresponds in both sides.
I was having all my plates all over the place and what i could find already done, were prints of over 40 hours.
So … I did this design which fits my requirements:
- storage for maximum of 5 plates.
- ladder layout for easier access to the plates.
- minimal time to print, no space waste around the printer etc.
- easy to put together (glue the parts together if you want; 4 parts only). All parts are connected, so it's very stable with minimal material and time use.
- one plate print.
- use some anti slip pads under this support, as PLA is sliding easy over the printer glass top. Or print some TPU pads, as you wish.
I used Anti Scratch Floor Protectors and works perfect.
