Description

This is a Manual Material Feeder (MMF) for people who has requests for supply materail from dry box or any other external material container. you can connect this feeder to printer by 4mm PTFE tube, then to insert filaments to this feeder and run the feeder by press the trigger time and time.

There are several things you need pay attention.

Addtional componets:

1.Silicon rubber tube. The size shown below. (same size tube as the roller of my MMS. Inner diameter 14mm, outer diameter 18mm)

Two rubber tube put on to below two rollers.

2. 2 pieces of φ4*4Magnet put into below two places with some glue, and make sure they are attract each other.

Then to assemble gear and trigger as below picture shown. make sure two dimple mark mate together.

(please note that there is no any color at the place of dimple, below is just for you easily see it, so i paint red color on them. sorry for my poor camera)

3. Rubber belt, it is just normal rubber belt, and don`t too tight.

4. 7pcs of 2.2mm*6mm slef typing countersunk screw. 2.2mm is not accurate dimension. You just need to find a similar one, 2.5mm is also OK.

 

Once everything ready. please assemble components as the way below video shown.

It is better you use this MMF with My MMS. Infact, i`d like to say this MMF is a part of my MMS. They help you run your printing job more efficiently. see my video below, it show you how this two work.

I am currently in the process of setting everything up! I'm so excited I got it working! There are a few things I thought of. Curently, it's just hanging there. So I figured a PTFE lock would be good between the gun and the MMS PTFE tube, where the filament enters the gun, having the same thing as the exit. As well as maybe making it be able to stand or a place for it to go rather than just dangling? Let me know if I'm just being an asshole, though. I don't mean to be. this is an AWESOME setup! I love it. I'll post the full setup when it's done! ❤️❤️❤️

设计感非常棒,但是我不太明白这个的实际作用,因为看到视频中每次送料都需要把这个送料枪插上去,手动挤压后送料,回抽料的时候又需要把这个送料枪给取下来。让人有种既好用 又麻烦的撕裂感,是否我理解错了使用方法?

哇,你的语言表达很到位啊。向你学习。是这样的,我的材料实际上距离打印机很远。我想要实现的是送料枪拖着两米长的料管直接对接到料箱上。那么为什么要收料的时候耗材拉出来呢,这是因为材料如果都在料管理的话,阻力太大,回料杆拉不动。因为毕竟料盘和滚轴之间的摩擦力是有限的,不能指望他就能把料拉回去。
