Description

Hello,

UPDATE 26/1/2024:

You can check you our new model, same like this one but XL bigger. Inner containers are compatible.

https://makerworld.com/en/models/157759#profileId-173134

Our new model of the utility case, its little bit smaller and more compact that previous one.

Simple and fun print.

All parts are completely printed with PLA, only the gasket needs to be printed with TPU in order to close smooth and seal nicely.

We made the first profile with inner boxes in which you can store 15pcs AA batteries, 15pcs AAA batteries and 2pcs 9V batteries.

The second profile is the same as the case, but with 3 internal fuse boxes 20x5 that you can put away.In the first two, you can store 150 pieces of 20x5 fuses, and in the 3rd lowest box, you can also store a couple of fuse packs.

Also the internal storage boxes are compatible with those of the larger model, which you can find at the link:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/132417#profileId-143543

To assemble one case, you need:

6pcs M3 nuts

1pc of screws M3x30

2pcs of screws M3x18

I hope you like it, and enjoy printing and using this useful case.

I expect your pictures of printed models in the comments :D

Also, if you need some custom accessories for all our models, you can contact us on our patreon page which is in bio.

Enjoy printing :D

I love this battery case. I had a little bit of warping on most of the corners, but it's still fully functional. I can't remember the last time I've even seen a 9-volt battery and have absolutely no need for them any more so I modified the insert slightly to add more AAA slots.

9 volt batteries for smoke detectors, mostly. We carry extras in the RV. Extra smoke alarms in the home as well us the 9 volt.

Hi @danregazzi Can you share the project with the modification without the 9v holes? :)

Encouraged by the "standard" version decided to print this one as well. Again, perfect results. If you are looking for more toned colors, I would encourage white case with black details, works very well in my print. EDIT: added photos from the comment below

Actually why not. A few remarks: - "standard" version printed with 80 scaling - this scale allows to hold all standard printer accessories perfectly. - "S" version printed on the smooth bed plate for nicer finish EDIT: - no gasket in both versions, just as I finished preparing TPU for print I noticed that everything fits perfectly (as many people mentioned already ;) ) so decided to skip that part

Thank you very much. I said this would be my first model in 2024, and I did it. Instead of printing the small one, I chose this battery box. The size is perfect and the switch is very smooth. You are such a genius, thank you again.

For this model, I specially bought TPU filaments to print sealing strips; I didn’t wait for the TPU filaments to arrive before commenting. I really like it so much.

Battery Box is great size and pretty good. Only issue is the step/lip on bottom of insert, caused failure so I cut it off in slicer. Odd length screws compared to most other boxes out there, but we made it work. Colors not showing well in pics, but are copper over black. Box is great size for spare batteries in RV. Thank You for making and sharing, much appreciation!

I have been looking for a storage solution for my batteries for a long time. I wanted something more than just individual "stack-em" type boxes. Other storage options didn't offer the combination of batteries that I mainly use. I loved this design and even went as far as to replicate the green and silver color combination.
