A1 Mini Heatbed Cable Protector

Original version did not fit the A1 Mini; I ground up made a new version for the A1 Mini regardless it is no concern of the cable kink or bend stated by manufacturer. It is still better than nothing to prevent the heatbed cable to get bend in the wrong allowance.

A1 Mini will not share the same fate as the regular A1!

Tips

Clean the bed with dish soap (degrease).
Avoid touching the bed surface with your bare finger.
For non-textured bed, highly recommended purple glue application.
Slow down print speed for tall prints.

Prints well, supports come off mostly cleanly although it did require a bit of polishing with a file. It snaps together perfectly - thanks for the arrow, which should point to the printer. Printed in Bambu PLA white.

What exactly did you polish? Mine is really loose like i can move it along the cable once attached.

Where the supports attach at the bottom and at the base there were a few stray strands and blobs. These poked at the rubber of the cord and caught on it. I didn't want it crushing into the insulation. But it shouldn't slide around. It will grip tightly enough to lock in place. There's an internal gate which retains it. I can slide mine around slightly but not up and down the cable.

Also make sure the orientation is correct. The arrow points toward the printer. There's a hard shoulder at this point. At the other end, there's a gradual taper for the cable.
