Description

The clips that I have printed so far have always been loose and moved around on the PTFE tubes and, in my opinion, they did not fulfill their role.

I decided to design a clip that would fit tightly and be easy to put on. The solution was to print in the vase mode (spiral vase).

I recommend using filaments with good adhesion, from what I have read, matte and silk filaments may be a problem.

Settings that must be used for successful printing:

  • Spiral vase: marked,
  • Bottom shellleyers: 0,
  • Slice gap closing radius: 0.002
  • Line width (Outer wall): 0.5
  • I recommend layer height: 0.28mm

I printed it directly on plate and had no problem, but if you are afraid of adhesion problems, I prepared a profile with a raft.

design printed perfect, just a little to tight for my liking, you can only push in the Bowden tubes with lots of force.
