Description

Here is my construction of a very stable wall mount for the Bambu AMS with integrated plates holder

The wall mount work with the new AMS (end of 2023 model: SA001) see position of the wall mount at the back of the AMS on the photo.

I cannot say whether the holder also works with the older AMS, I would be happy to receive feedback on this.

The holders are symmetrical and can be printed together on one plate. Support is only necessary in the area of the AMS holder. See plate arrangement

The construction is designed so that variable cross struts can be inserted between the beams, the length of which can also be printed on a 250 mm build plate. The building board holder then sits on these cross struts

The cross struts are secured with small clips after insertion.

I printed the parts with layer 0.16 and "PLA tough" with great results in terms of strength and appearance.

See also my additional small shelf system for storing spare parts.

and the additional drawer system on the side for storage of hotends

I had some issues with the overhangs, but i think that is because i’ve just moved office and not calibrated the printer again yet. Nice design.

Hi, it's a pity that the quality is not so good. Yes, I also think you should recalibrate and possibly also check/replace the nozzle.

I wanted to show that even with my poor print quality this works perfectly. Thank you for the share.

I want to print this, but I have a couple of questions: can you stil open the lid to swap filaments? Do you think that PLA will be fine? Thanks, amazing model!

Sorry, but I don't understand the question, what means open the lid? The filament can simply be changed in the slicer or not?

I mean, to change the spools. If it's too close to the wall, will the lid open so we can take off the spool? or do we need to move the AMS from the brackets? (Sorry for my English!)

Ah, now I understand what you mean. The distance between the AMS and the wall is large enough so that the lid can be opened and also remains open to change the spools. Yes, PLA is ok, the construction is stable enough. print with 0.16 Layer and 30% infill
